Grass cutting has now resumed as part of our planned grounds maintenance programme

During the recent period of exceptionally hot and dry weather, grass growth slowed significantly across many of our neighbourhoods. To protect grassed areas and make the best use of resources, grass cutting was temporarily reduced where appropriate. 

However, grounds maintenance visits continued as scheduled. During this time, our contractors focused on other important maintenance activities, including: 

• Hedge and shrub maintenance where appropriate 
• Weed control 
• Litter picking 
• Clearing hard-standing areas and pathways 
• General upkeep of communal outdoor spaces 

This work forms part of our overall grounds maintenance service and helped keep our neighbourhoods safe, tidy and well maintained while grass growth was limited.
