This Policy sets out the key principles by which Platform Housing Group will ensure we comply with legal requirements in respect of data protection. The Policy has been updated to take account of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is effective from 25 May 2018.

This policy sets out the steps taken to meet our legal obligations to eliminate unlawful discrimination, advance equality of opportunities and foster good relations within the workplace and in communities where we provide services. It also outlines our proactive approach to creating inclusive culture with our employees, customers and partners.

Risk Management Policy

This policy sets out Platform Housing Group’s approach and commitment to the management of risk. It acknowledges that all businesses operate in an environment of risk, and introduces a framework and guidelines to identify, manage and mitigate risk, ensuring that a proactive risk management culture is embedded throughout the organisation. For the purposes of this policy, Platform Housing Group refers to all members of the Platform Housing Group.

The Regulator of Social Housing’s (RSH) Regulatory Framework for social housing requires that Platform Housing Group has an appropriate, robust and prudent business planning, risk and control framework, and this forms an important part of the RSH Governance and Viability Standard.

The application of this policy will ensure that the Group meets the requirements of the RSH Regulatory Framework in relation to risk management arrangements. The Group will also strive to assess, manage and where appropriate address risks to ensure its long term viability, and ensure that social housing assets are protected

Whistleblowing Policy

This policy sets out how employees, board members, stakeholders, consultants, sub-contractors, partners and any other agencies can raise any serious concerns they may have about any aspect of the Group’s work on a confidential basis without any fear of reprisal. This policy should be read in conjunction with the Group’s Code of Conduct.
