With around 2000 colleagues and over 120,000 customers, we are proud to be one of the largest housing associations in the Midlands. Our impact reaches across the country, with more than 50,000 homes. 

From Herefordshire to the Lincolnshire coast, from the Derbyshire Dales to the Cotswolds, our work is shaping communities and improving lives. 

Because we’re a not-for-profit, every penny we earn goes back into our communities — creating new homes, caring for the ones we already have, and making our local services even better

A Platform That Gives Back

Building homes isn’t all we do at Platform. We create thriving and stable neighbourhoods. And we champion a greener future, making a lasting and positive impact. Being a responsible employer and community partner is simply how we do business.  

In the year 2024-2025, our Wellbeing Fund allocated over £1 million to support nearly 3,000 customers with essentials like food, household itemsitems, and energy vouchers. Plus, our Successful Tenancies Team has helped around 7,000 customers and unlocked around £4 million through welfare benefit claims and appeals.  

This all adds up to a massive £1.25 billion in social value delivered in 2024-2025 alone, making a real difference in people's lives. 

Our customers are at the heart of what we do, and we value their input and feedback. Our Customer Voice Panel and our online Platform Voices portal, ensures their opinions shape our services. 

It’s not only our customers that we support, thanks to our Community Chest Fund we’ve been able to help hundreds of community organisations with funding too.  

We’re investing in a greener future; promising to hit net zero carbon emissions by 2050. And we’re upgrading all homes to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of C or better by 2030. 

Our developments include green spaces, wildlife features, and innovative upgrades too, supported by major sustainability funding.
