These include an £7.85pcm support charge, £3.46pcm administration charge, ££18.32pcm catering services, £11.61pcm personal water charge, and an optional £3.60pcm for a personal alarm. A Lettings Officer can give you a full break breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for Housing Benefits payments.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form.

You will be offered a starter tenancy and if there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.

Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.  

If you are a current Private Tenant, Council Tenant or a Housing Association Tenant / (Platform Housing Group Tenant) you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. You will only need to give Notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property.
