Arkwright House is a Retirement Living scheme, for people who are aged 55 and over who are in reciept of PIP and to those aged 60 and over. Designed to support independent living. Customers benefit from the reassurance of a dedicated Retirement Housing Officer 5 days a week, alongside an on-site presence twice weekly.

Arkwright House is a true “community within a community” where you can enjoy the independence of your own apartment while feeling part of something bigger. Arkwright House comprises of 34, 1 bed and studio apartments in a corridor setting, each apartment having it's own front door which is accessable from the corridor which gives added security as well as accessing the scheme via a secure door . TEC call system monitored off site- you can feel confident that support is always close to hand.
Features
A dedicated Retirement Housing Officer is there to offer practical help, advice, and reassurance, from wellbeing visits and property checks to support with maintenance and accessing Platform Housing services. There are also opportunities to get involved in social activities (or simply dip in when it suits you), alongside help to access specialist advice and maximise income where needed.
