“It’s a great way to feel heard and have some kind of impact on the customer experience.” 

I’ve only been on the panel for a short while and joined to ensure that everyone receives a friendly customer experience. I worked as a tenancy support officer before leaving to look after my twin boys as juggling both was too much. 

Everyone will have their own reasons to become a panel member, but as a tenant I joined the panel because I wanted to dedicate some time to something 'grown-up' and saw the opportunity to volunteer with Platform, which was ideal; an area I understood but in a way that meant something to me, my neighbours and wider community.
