We are hosting a new interactive event next month designed to increase understanding of neurodiversity and connect people with local sources of support.

The Neurodiversity Experience will take place over several sessions at Malvern Town Football Club on Wednesday 26 November.  It is the first in a planned series of three events across our localities, aimed at helping customers and community members better understand neurodiversity and the different ways people experience the world.

The event will feature the Autism Experience Bus, an immersive, sensory simulation that gives participants a powerful insight into what daily life can feel like for autistic individuals.  Visitors will also have the chance to meet representatives from a range of partner agencies and community organisations, who will be on hand to offer advice and information on accessing local support.

Tom Piotrowski, our Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager said: “The Neurodiversity Experience is about awareness, empathy and action.  We want to create space where people can learn, ask questions and understand the barriers that neurodiverse individuals often face, whether that’s in housing, work or everyday life.  It’s also an opportunity to listen to our customers’ experiences and ensure their voices shape our future services.”

In addition to raising awareness, the event will help us gather feedback from neurodiverse customers about their priorities, challenges and ideas for improvements.  This insight will support our ongoing work to make services more inclusive and accessible for all.

Attendance is free but spaces are limited.  To book, please visit www.eventbrite.co.uk//e/neurodiversity-experience-tickets-1813340573469?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=listing&utm-source=cp&aff=ebdsshcopyurl
