This Easter, Staffordshire Children’s Hospital received a very special delivery thanks to colleagues and contractors from Property Care who collected more than 1300 chocolate eggs.

Delivered using one of our new electric vehicles, the donation was part of a wider initiative that saw more than £2,300 worth of chocolate eggs delivered to children’s hospitals in just 24 hours.

Taylor Robins, one of our Service Managers said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to coordinate an initiative such as this and I’m grateful for all the donations received from contractors and colleagues.  Everyone pulled together to make this happen; it’s something we’re really proud of.”

Emma Biddulph, Hospital Play Specialist Co-ordinator at Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke said: “We are extremely grateful to Platform Property Care for the generous donation of Easter eggs that they have delivered.  We will be sharing the Easter eggs with children and families across Staffordshire Children’s Hospital including the Children’s Emergency Department and Children’s Outpatients over the Easter weekend.”

The Easter egg donation is just one example of how our colleagues work together to support local communities.
