Please note all properties are unfurnished and Platform Housing Group does not cover your contents as part of the tenancy agreement.

The preferred method of payment ongoing is via Direct Debit and we accept Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.

If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for a   lifetime assured, social rent tenancy.

Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.

If you are currently renting you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice.
