Lullowfield House is a retirement living scheme operated by Platform Housing Group. 

In Droitwich Spa, at town in the Wychavon District of Worcestershire. Located near the town centre of Droitwich, with shops and other amenities nearby. There is a bus stop directly outside to take you to local amenities on the High Street. It is also well situated for bus and train services into both Worcester and Birmingham.

For people aged 60 and above; or 55 and above if also in receipt of Personal Independence Payments or Disability Living Allowance.

Lullowfield House has 33 properties, some of which are one bedroom apartments and others studio apartments. All first floor properties benefit from a balcony. There is a residents lounge on both floors, as well as a dining room and kitchen. There is a self-contained guest room for guests to book with its own kitchen and bathroom, and a car park to the rear of the building for residents and visitors. There is lift access to the first floor.

Please note, applicants for upper-floor flats must be able to safely use stairs in the event of an emergency.

You will be required to pay one month’s rent.  Exact amount is dependent on the type of property. Example amounts include around £747 for a studio apartment or around  £828 for a one bedroom apartment. This can be discussed with a Lettings Officer if you are considered for this property. 

Please note that if you are claiming Housing Benefit or Housing Element of Universal Credit there are some service charges that would not be covered. Some examples of these are:

  • £8.15pcm support charge
  • £8.95pcm administration charge
  • £47.76pcm personal heating charge
  • £3.74pcm personal alarm charge (optional)

A Lettings Officer can give you a full breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for Housing Benefits payments.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form.

You will be offered a starter tenancy and if there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.

Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.  

If you are a current Private Tenant, Council Tenant or a Housing Association Tenant/Platform Housing Group Tenant you will be required to give notice on your current home. You will only need to give Notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.
