There is no deposit required, although you will be required to pay one month’s rent in advance of up to £491.91pcm on the tenancy start day. Please note that if you are claiming Housing Benefit or Housing Element of Universal Credit there are some service charges that would not be covered. These include a £0.56pcm for an administration charge and a £3.74pcm charge towards the cost of personal care alarm (this is optional). A lettings Officer can give you a full break breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for Housing Benefits payments.

If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.
