Platform Housing are delighted to offer an unfurnished first floor studio apartment situated in Horncastle. The apartments benefit from being conveniently located a few minutes walk from the town centre and close to attractions such as Horncastle Town Football Club, Hammerton Gardens and the Rivers Bain and Waring. 

Ancaster Court is just off The Wong and is a small scheme with 30 homes. All with their own kitchens and bathrooms. Surrounded by gardens other facilities include a communal lounge, laundry room and guest suite for visitors. There is Non-resident management and Careline alarm service. All the amenities within the town centre are a short distance away.

These include a £18.68pcm for personal heating, £25.54pcm personal electric, £20.45pcm personal water charge, £8.15pcm charge towards the cost of support and £10.92pcm towards the cost of administration.  

A lettings Officer can give you a full break breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for Housing Benefits payments. Please note our preferred ongoing method of payment is via Direct Debit and we accept Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.

If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy. 

Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy. . If you are a current private tenant, council tenant or a housing association tenant you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. If you are a current tenant of Platform Housing Group, you will be required to give 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice.  You will only need to give notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.

Please note all properties are unfurnished and Platform Housing Group does not cover your contents as part of the tenancy agreement. Contents insurance is the tenant’s responsibility.  

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
