Platform Housing Group retains top regulatory rating
Platform has retained it’s G1/V1 rating from the Regulator for Social Housing this month after a reassessment earlier this year. This reaffirmation means that for the second year running Platform Housing Group has performed at the highest level for both governance and viability.
Elizabeth Froude, the group’s Chief Executive of Platform Housing Group was thrilled and expressed,
“We are pleased that the Regulator for Social Housing has affirmed our rating. It reaffirms to us, and others, that Platform Housing Group is a financially solid business with a strong social focus”.
She continued to add, “We’re continuing with a sizeable investment programme in our existing homes and improving energy efficiency, as well as building more new affordable homes in our communities”.
Elizabeth went on to warn however that, “We do remain aware of the current difficult operating environment and continue to keep a close eye on the impact of macro-economic factors on our business plan and have clear mitigation plans should they be needed".
