We have been shortlisted in the prestigious Better Together Awards, hosted by Travis Perkins Managed Services, recognising our work in supported housing at the Malvern Hills Foyer.

The Better Together Awards celebrate those who go above and beyond to improve lives and build a sustainable future, showcasing the power of partnership in creating vibrant and resilient communities.

Our Supported Housing team at the Foyer has been named as a finalist in the People category, which honours initiatives that support individuals and foster connected, healthy communities.

The nomination highlights our team’s commitment to empowering young people at the Foyer, helping them build independence, confidence and brighter futures through tailored support, personal development opportunities and community connection.

Nikki Knight, our Head of Specialist Housing said: “We’re incredibly proud of the work our teams do every day to support residents and help them build the skills and resilience they need to thrive.  Being shortlisted is a fantastic recognition of the passion, commitment and care that drives everything we do.”

The winning initiative in each category will receive £5000, to be reinvested into the nominated project or organisation. The awards ceremony will take place on 5 March 2026.

We continue to put people and communities at the heart of our work and this national recognition reinforces the impact of our supported housing services in creating opportunities and improving lives.

Ben Clifford, Senior Account Manager (South) at Travis Perkins Managed Services said: “The Better Together Awards were created to shine a light on the incredible work happening across our communities and Platform’s nomination in the People category is a brilliant example of that.  The team at Malvern Hills Foyer has demonstrated a genuine commitment to improving lives and supporting young people to thrive.  We’re proud to celebrate their efforts and the positive impact they’re making through collaboration and care.”

The Foyer is part of our Young People’s Services, which provide accommodation, tailored support and life skills training for young people facing homelessness or other challenges.  Over its long history of providing young people with housing and support, the service has supported hundreds of young people to stabilise their lives, continue education or training and move on successfully into independent living.
