We have been shortlisted in two major categories at the Housing Innovation Awards 2026, recognising our leadership in technology, culture and wellbeing across the housing sector.

We are a finalist for:

  • Most Innovative Approach to Culture and Wellbeing – for the Digital Futures Academy, an inclusive early careers programme that is transforming access to digital roles within the housing sector;
  • Best Repairs and Maintenance Innovation in partnership with Voicescape.

Jon Cocker, our Chief Information Officer said: “It’s brilliant to see the Digital Futures Academy recognised in this way.  We’ve created a pathway into digital careers that puts people first, building confidence, inclusion and wellbeing into every step.  It’s proof that digital transformation can be deeply human and that innovation doesn’t always mean technology; it means care, connection and opportunity.”

Our Digital Futures Academy was launched in late 2024 to address the digital skills gap in housing, while supporting diverse talent into new career opportunities.  The programme includes inclusive recruitment, mentoring, wellbeing support and neurodiversity awareness training, including immersive Autism Reality Bus sessions.

In partnership with Voicescape, we have also been jointly shortlisted in the Best Repairs and Maintenance Innovation category, for our use of automated engagement technology.  By introducing proactive outbound calls, SMS confirmation and real time rescheduling, the partnership has significantly reduced no access rates, improved customer experience and created a more efficient, reliable appointment process across gas servicing, EICR inspections and general repairs.  The nomination reflects the impact of automation in supporting safer homes, stronger communication and better outcomes for residents.

Lewis Murray, Senior Account Manager at Voicescape said: “We’re delighted to see our partnership with Platform recognised in this way.  Platform’s commitment to using technology to make services more accessible, efficient and customer centred has delivered real, measurable impact, and it's a brilliant example of how digital innovation can transform the repairs and maintenance journey for both residents and teams.”

Both innovations reflect our wider ambition to build a better future by investing in people, homes and communities, underpinned by a strong commitment to digital transformation, customer care and colleague wellbeing.
