One of our dedicated Lettings Officers has been chosen as one of Housing Today's Top 30 Housing Champions.

Lucy Jenkins has joined this year’s top 30 recognising her 18 years in the housing sector helping to change the lives of those who are in the most urgent need by providing them with safe and secure housing solutions.

As part of its “Every Person Counts” campaign, Housing Today recognises individuals leading positive change in the social housing sector through innovative work and initiatives promoting best practices and workforce issues within the sector.

Each year its top 30 list celebrates those housing professionals who are going above and beyond in their day-to-day roles to improve services for residents.

Lucy, who is based in Worcestershire, said: “I feel very thankful to be nominated and so pleased to represent housing colleagues as part of this year’s Champions. I’m always thinking about putting our customers first and how important it is to help them rebuild their lives after a trauma such as domestic abuse or homelessness. Recent collaboration with colleagues has seen us implement a new management move register that enables us to support our existing customers with their move in a timely manner. I hope that my time as Housing Champion will serve as a way to network with other housing professionals on issues such as the transition from hospital to independent living for customers with mental health issues.”
