Ending your tenancy and moving out? We’re making it easier!

At Platform, we’re always looking for ways to improve your experience - whether you're moving in, settling in, or preparing to move on.
As part of this commitment, we’re trialling a new approach to support customers who are preparing to leave their homes with new End of Tenancy Visits.
What is an end of tenancy visit?
If you've let us know you're ending your tenancy, and you live in one of the areas taking part in the pilot, a member of our Property Care team will contact you to arrange a visit before you move out.
During this visit, we’ll:
- Point out any repairs that need to be completed before you leave.
- Let you know about any potential charges, so there are no surprises.
- Talk through any options for gifting items (like carpets and sheds) to the next customer.
- Assess what work might be needed to get the home ready for its next customers.
Why are we doing this?
We know that moving can be a busy and sometimes stressful time. This early visit will help you prepare, avoid unexpected costs and ensure a smoother process for both you and the next people moving in.
Where is this happening?
This is a pilot project running in selected areas. Depending on how well it works, we’re hoping to roll it out across all our localities in the future.
How can I get involved?
We’re looking for customers to get involved and share their views on this pilot project.
You can sign up to take part via our Platform Voices webpage and join our customer feedback group. Plus, you’ll have the chance to take part in other improvement projects and earn rewards! Closing date for responses is Friday 27 June 2025.
