Fixing Front Door Locks and Handles

If you have issues with your front door’s lock or handle, here are some steps to check and secure it:

  1. Retighten the Euro Cylinder Retaining Screw: Use a screwdriver to tighten the screw that holds the Euro lock in place.
  2. Secure Loose Door Handles: Locate the screws on each side of the handle. Insert a screwdriver and tighten both screws until the handle is firm.
  3. Test the Lock and Handle: Ensure that everything operates smoothly once the screws are secure.

Aligning a Kitchen Unit Door

If your kitchen cabinet door is misaligned or loose, follow these steps to adjust and secure it:

  1. Remove the Cover Strip: Slide or pull off the cover strip to access the screws beneath.
  2. Adjust the Screws: Use the screws to adjust the door's alignment: The first screw moves the door inwards or outwards, and the second screw adjusts the door from left to right.
  3. Tighten the Screws: Ensure that the main top and bottom screws are secure to prevent loosening.
  4. Replace the Cover Strip: Clip the cover strip back in place to finish the adjustment.

Replacing a Kitchen Drawer

Here’s how to remove and replace a kitchen drawer:

  1. Remove the Drawer: Pull the drawer out until it stops, then tilt it slightly upward and lift it off the tracks.
  2. Replace the Drawer: Align the drawer over the wheels on the tracks, then gently lower it back into place.
  3. Test the Drawer: Open and close the drawer to ensure it slides smoothly.
