Underhall is a Retirement Living scheme, for people who are aged 55 and over who are in receipt of PIP and to those aged 60 and over. Designed to support independent living. Customers benefit from the reassurance of a dedicated Retirement Housing Officer 5 days a week, alongside an on-site presence twice weekly.

Life at Underhall

Underhall  is a true “community within a community” where you can enjoy the independence of your own apartment while feeling part of something bigger. Underhall comprises of  41, 1 bed apartments in a corridor setting, each apartment having it's own front door which is accessible from the corridor which gives added security as well as accessing the scheme via a secure door. TEC call system monitored off site- you can feel confident that support is always close to hand.

Features

A dedicated Retirement Housing Officer is there to offer practical help, advice, and reassurance, from wellbeing visits and property checks to support with maintenance and accessing Platform Housing services. There are also opportunities to get involved in social activities (or simply dip in when it suits you), alongside help to access specialist advice and maximise income where needed.

Location

Underhall is situated in Darley Dale which is located on the edge of the Peak District National Park and sits between Matlock and Bakewell. Underhall is within a 2 minute walk to the local post office, opposite the scheme there is a local co-op and is in walking distance of the bus stop that will take you into Matlock or Bakewell.
