Pakenham House is a Retirement Living scheme, for people who are aged 55 and over who are in reciept of PIP and to those aged 60 and over. Designed to support independent living. Customers benefit from the reassurance of a dedicated Retirement Housing Officer 5 days a week, alongside an on-site presence twice weekly.

Life at Pakenham House

Pakenham House is a true “community within a community” where you can enjoy the independence of your own apartment while feeling part of something bigger. Pakenham House comprises of  64 , 1 & 2 bed apartments, 22 apartments in a corridor setting each apartment having it's own front door which is accessible from the corridor which gives added security as well as accessing the scheme via a secure door. 42 apartments which are outside with own front doors that are accessed from the pathway. All have TEC call system monitored off site - you can feel confident that support is always close to hand. 

Features

A dedicated Retirement Housing Officer is there to offer practical help, advice, and reassurance, from wellbeing visits and property checks to support with maintenance and accessing Platform Housing services. There are also opportunities to get involved in social activities (or simply dip in when it suits you), alongside help to access specialist advice and maximise income where needed.

Pakenham House is in a lovely village in Sutton Coldfield and is within walking distance of GP, dentist, shops and bus route into Birmingham City.
