The Firs is a Retirement Living scheme, for people who are aged 55 and over who are in reciept of PIP and to those aged 60 and over. Designed to support independent living. Customers benefit from the reassurance of a dedicated Retirement Housing Officer 5 days a week, alongside an on-site presence twice weekly.

Life at The Firs

The Firs  is a true “community within a community” where you can enjoy the independence of your own apartment while feeling part of something bigger. The Firs comprises of  1 & 2 bed apartments  in a corridor setting, each apartment having it's own front door which is accessable from the corridor which gives added security as well as accessing the scheme via a secure door .  There are also 8,1 bed bungalows.

Features

A dedicated Retirement Housing Officer is there to offer practical help, advice, and reassurance, from wellbeing visits and property checks to support with maintenance and accessing Platform Housing services. There are also opportunities to get involved in social activities (or simply dip in when it suits you), alongside help to access specialist advice and maximise income where needed.

Location

Kempsey is a small village and civil parisj in the Malvern Hills district of the country of Worcetser. The local shop is approximately 15 minute walk. There's a doctors surgery, community centre and pubs close by. A bus route is also nearby which goes to Worcester.
