By road this village is approximately 5 miles from Ledbury and 3 miles from Malvern.

Preference given to those who have a verifiable local connection to Colwell and then to Herefordshire.

At the time of allocation we will consider a household of up to a maximum of three people. Within this preference given to families with one child and then to working couples.

The preferred method of payment ongoing is via Direct Debit and we accept Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.

If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for a   lifetime affordable rent tenancy. Please note that rents on affordable rent tenancies are subject to review and may change, details will be confirmed should you be allocated this home.

Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.

If you are currently renting you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. You will only need to give Notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.
