Platform Housing is delighted to offer this unfurnished two bedroom second floor apartment in Droitwich, an historic spa town in the Wychavon district in northern Worcestershire. 

There are close amenities with the town centre, set around Victoria Square, having a range of local and high street retailers and regular farmers markets. There is a Morrisons and Waitrose within the Town Centre however for all your extra needs there is a large retail park.

There are several transport links including Junction 6, M5 motorway, Droitwich Railway Station providing links to Birmingham and Worcester and regular bus services going to Droitwich town and Worcester.

Preference given to those who have a local connection to the Wychavon district. 

There is a local lettings plan in place. Applicants must be aged 40+ and no dependent children. 

At the time of allocation, we will consider a household of up to a maximum of three people. 

Within the local lettings plan; preference given to those who we can assess as having a two bed need. 

Set within communal grounds there is shared access into the three story building. Stairs take you to the upper floors, there is no lift. This unfurnished home is on the top floor and briefly consists of:-

You will be required to pay one month’s rent/service charges of £553.65 in advance prior to signing and receiving keys for the property. Details will be confirmed should you go on to be offered this property.

The preferred method of payment ongoing is via Direct Debit and we accept Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.

If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for a   lifetime assured tenancy. 

Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.

If you are currently renting you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months’ notice. You will only need to give Notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.
