We have been shortlisted for seven national safety and compliance awards

Our Heating and Compliance and Complex Repairs teams have been shortlisted in an impressive seven categories at the prestigious ASCP 2026 Awards, recognising excellence across the housing safety and compliance sector.  

We have been named as a finalist in the following categories:  

  • Best Response to Awaab’s Law Award; 
  • Customer Service Excellence Award; 
  • Electrical Contractor of the Year; 
  • Gaining Access Initiative of the Year; 
  • Rising Star Award (Andrew Hibbert, EICR Delivery Manager); 
  • Safety and Compliance Team of the Year; 
  • Women in Safety and Compliance Award (Natalie Smith, M&E Manager).  

The Association of Safety and Compliance Professionals (ASCP) Awards celebrate outstanding achievement, innovation and best practice across the housing sector, recognising organisations and individuals who demonstrate excellence in keeping customers safe and delivering exceptional services.  

The shortlist recognises the dedication and expertise of our Heating and Compliance and Complex Repairs teams, whose work continues to place customer safety, regulatory compliance and service excellence at the heart of everything we do.  

The nominations reflect a range of initiatives and achievements, including our proactive approach to implementing Awaab’s Law requirements, delivering outstanding customer service, driving improvements in access for safety critical inspections and repairs, and supporting the development of talented colleagues within the sector.  

Individual recognition has also been awarded to Andrew Hibbert, who has been shortlisted for the Rising Star Award and Natalie Smith, who has been named a finalist in the Woman in Safety and Compliance category.  

Phil Trickett, our Head of Heating and Compliance said: “To be shortlisted in seven categories is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the commitment, professionalism and expertise demonstrated by our teams every day.  

“Safety and compliance are fundamental to everything we do, and our colleagues work incredibly hard to ensure customers remain safe in their homes while delivering the highest possible standards of service.  

“We’re particularly proud to see individual colleagues recognised alongside our team achievements.  Andrew and Natalie are both excellent examples of the talent, dedication and passion we have across the business.  

“Being shortlisted alongside some of the sector’s leading organisations is an honour in itself and we wish all finalists the very best of luck.  Whatever the outcome, this recognition is something everyone involved should be incredibly proud of.”  

The winners will be announced at the ASCP Awards ceremony on 8 September this year.  

The Association of Safety and Compliance Professionals has been the voice of safety and compliance in the social housing sector since 2010 with more than 1000 members and is the leading community for safely managing social housing assets and wider facilities management.
