We are sponsoring the Community Marquee at the Worcester Show for second consecutive year

We are sponsoring the Community Marquee at the Worcester Show 2025, taking place on Sunday 10th August at Worcester Racecourse. 

 
This marks the second year that we have supported the marquee; a central and vibrant part of the event that brings together local charities, voluntary organisations, and community groups to showcase the incredible work being done across Worcester. 
 

The sponsorship forms part of our wider commitment to supporting community cohesion, increased sense of belonging, and grassroots impact — a key pillar of our work as one of the Midlands leading housing associations. 

 
Tom Piotrowski, our Equality, Diversion and Inclusion Manager said: "We're delighted to be working again with Worcester City Council on this brilliant event. By sponsoring the Community Marquee, we hope to showcase diversity of local communities in Worcester and help people from different backgrounds come together. Our involved customers will be showcasing some of their own community projects which should be a highlight." 

 
From wellbeing initiatives to climate action and social inclusion, the Community Marquee provides a vital space for local groups to connect with thousands of attendees and share the work they do to improve lives in the city. The Community Marquee will also host a fundraising team from the NSPCC, our corporate charity of the year.  
 

Councillor Katie Collier, Vice Chair of Worcester City Council Communities Committee said: “The Community Marquee continues to grow from strength to strength with the help of Platform Housing.  A whole range of groups from different backgrounds across Worcester will gather in the Community Marquee to share information, activities and entertainment.  The diversity of Worcester’s community makes it a truly special place to live, work and visit. Worcester Show is a day to celebrate that.” 

 
Our ongoing support helps ensure that smaller and often underrepresented voices are celebrated in one of Worcester’s most well-attended summer events.
