We are celebrating a successful year with 1380 new homes delivered

We have marked the end of the 2025/2026 financial year with our strongest development delivery performance in more than five years, completing 1380 new homes across our operating areas, 779 of these grant funded by Homes England.  

The milestone represents the largest number of homes we have delivered since 2020 and reflects our track record as a reliable, consistent and ambitious organisation.  

We also started on site with 1556 homes in the same period and will begin work on approximately 1600 this financial year.  

The figures show that consistency in delivery is central to our approach, particularly in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Despite rising expectations and additional compliance requirements, we have continued to maintain strong output year on year while delivering high performing, safe and sustainable schemes.  This demonstrates that we not only have the ambition to grow but the operational resilience and governance maturity to do so without compromising quality.  

Paula Heatley, our Director of Development Delivery and Sales said: “Completing 1380 homes in a single year is a fantastic achievement for Platform and one that everyone involved should be incredibly proud of.  What makes this particularly significant is that we’ve achieved this while also recording our highest levels of customer satisfaction and our lowest number of defects per property.  

“These results show that it is possible to deliver more homes without compromising on quality.  They reflect the commitment of our colleagues, partners and contractors to getting things right for our customers and communities.”  

The homes completed during the year have supported a wide range of needs including social rent, affordable rent, shared ownership and rent to buy, helping people into safe, secure and high quality housing.  

As we look ahead, we remain focused on maintaining high standards, learning from customer feedback and continuing to deliver new homes responsibly and sustainably.
