Residents at Naseby Square in Market Harborough are settling into more than just new homes, as we officially opened a welcoming customer community hub at the development.

The newly furnished lounge, located at the heart of the scheme, was launched with a special Meet your Neighbour event which brought together customers old and new.  Guests enjoyed refreshments, arts and crafts and entertainment from a magician, much to the delight of both children and adults.

The event provided an opportunity to strengthen community connections, share ideas for future activities and highlight key services available through our Platform Voices and our Successful Tenancies team.

Karen Little, our Head of Customer and Community Engagement said: “It was wonderful to see residents enjoying their new space together and to hear their enthusiasm for shaping future events and activities.  The new hub isn’t just about bricks and mortar, it’s about creating a sense of belonging, where neighbours can connect, support each other and make lasting memories.  We are really excited to see how the community will use and grow this space in the months and years ahead.”

The hub and gardens form part of the recently completed Naseby Square redevelopment, which has delivered 38 new affordable homes in partnership with Lindum Group.  The project includes a mix of affordable rent and shared ownership properties, alongside communal facilities for residents to enjoy.

The opening of the hub follows the earlier visit from local MP Neil O’Brien, who praised the development for transforming the former site of homes and derelict garages into a vibrant and welcoming place to live.

With more than 3000 homes across Market Harborough and surrounding areas, we are continuing to invest in creating not only quality homes but also strong, supportive communities.
