Families in Worcester enjoyed a free day of spooktacular fun thanks to a Halloween community event hosted by us this week.

The event, held at the Tolly Hub in Tolladine, attracted around 200 parents and children who joined in ghoulish face painting, trick or treat tombola and creepy crafts corner, along with a Show off your Spooky Style fancy dress competition.

Colleagues were joined by members of our Executive team, who helped welcome families, joined in with activities and chatted with local residents and customers.

Marion Duffy, our Chief Operations Officer  said: “It was a fantastic day and a great chance to bring local families together.  Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and events like this are a lovely way to connect with customers in a relaxed, friendly way.”

The event was part of a busy calendar of community activities led by our Community Engagement team, throughout the year, to support the local community, improve wellbeing and help residents feel connected.

Willow Traynor-Smith who was one of the fancy dress competition winners said: “The event was good with lots of things for us to do.”

Another winner, Layton Farnsworth added: “The event was great fun!”
