We're excited to have been shortlisted for three separate awards for our work using information technology.

We've been recognised by Housing Technology magazine in the following categories:

  • Tenant Services;
  • Innovation;
  • Digital Transformation.

The nominees and winners will be unveiled live at a ceremony on Wednesday 6 March at The Housing Technology 2024 conference in Nottingham.  With 500 delegates, 65 speakers, 38 talks and 37 sponsors, the event will host a range presentations and workshops covering data management, digital transformation, IoT, agile infrastructure, cyber security, finance and procurement and tenants as consumers.

Our award entries focussed on how our use of artificial intelligence and application of data has allowed use to link services in IT, Housing Operations and Finance to improve the efficiency of our services.  Examples include the use of technology to flag at risk customers to neighbourhood teams to prioritise health check services and the introduction of a new system that simplifies procurement processes within the finance department.

Jon Cocker, Chief Information Officer at Platform Housing Group – and a keynote speaker at the event - said : “We are delighted for the teams involved in these projects that have contributed to Platform being able to offer better services to our customers.  Our culture of innovation means we successfully use technology to improve provision and solve problems; importantly, our work using artificial intelligence is set to have a positive impact on our services in the future.”
