Platform Celebrates Business Continuity Awareness Week 2023

Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW) is an annual campaign that aims to raise awareness of business continuity and resilience within all sectors across the UK. This year’s theme is Embracing the Challenge of Resilience. We’ve created a podcast where you can find out about what business continuity means at Platform – click here to listen.  

Business continuity is about dealing with difficult situations and an ever-changing environment so that we can continue to function with as minimum impact as possible. We do this by anticipating, planning and preparing for possible events, which allows us to adapt and continue providing a service to our customers if and when those events happen. 

Trishna, Risk Compliance Business Partner at Platform, said “At Platform our priority is ensuring we provide a service to customers, no matter what. For example, during the Covid-19 pandemic we had to adapt to continue functioning as a business. That’s why we’re celebrating BACW; we’ll be using the week to help colleagues increase their resilience so that they’re better able to support our customers.”
