More than 160 affordable homes completed across Northamptonshire as we climb national rankings

We completed 162 new affordable homes across Northamptonshire during 2025/26 as part of our strongest delivery performance in more than five years.  

The homes formed part of a record year which saw us complete 1380 homes across England, helping us climb from 10th to eighth place nationally in Inside Housing’s annual Biggest Builders Survey.  

Across Northamptonshire, we also started work on a further 140 new homes.

Homes have been delivered across a range of tenures, helping first time buyers onto the housing ladder while also increasing the supply of affordable rented homes for local families.  

We continue to invest in Northamptonshire, with a strong pipeline of affordable homes supporting local housing need across the county.  

One such development is the 155 homes at the former Malabar Farm site in Daventry which will include affordable rent, shared ownership, social rent and rent to buy.  The first handover of homes took place in August 2025 with completion due this autumn.  

We currently own and manage more than 51,000 homes across the Midlands and expect to complete approximately 1600 further homes during 2026/27.  

The Inside Housing Biggest Builders Survey is an annual ranking of housing associations based on the number of homes completed during the previous financial year.
