Join our Create a Buzz campaign by planting wildflower seeds!

At Platform, we’re committed to sustainability and to supporting biodiversity. Following the success of last year’s Create a buzz campaign, we’re excited to once again celebrate International Day for Biological Diversity on Thursday 22 May with a special wildflower seed giveaway. 

Thanks to the support of our partners Nationwide Windows and Doors, we’re offering 500 free packets of wildflower seeds as part of our Create a Buzz – Planting with Platform initiative. These seeds are available to Platform customers and communities who want to help make their neighbourhoods greener and more vibrant.

Why Wildflower Planting?

Wildflowers are essential for supporting biodiversity. Populations of bees, butterflies and moths are in decline, but wildflower planting can make a real difference. Once grown, these flowers provide vital nectar and pollen during the months when pollinators are most active. By planting even a small patch, you’re helping create a healthier, more sustainable environment for wildlife.

Claiming your free packet of wildflower seeds

If you are a Platform customer and would like to take part, simply visit the Platform Voices Customer portal, complete a short survey and we’ll send you a packet of seeds along with our top tips for planting success. If you have not already registered for our Platform Voices portal, it’s really quick and straightforward.

Sharing your results

We’d love to see how your wildflowers grow! Share your progress on social media by tagging @PlatformHousing and using the hashtag #CreateABuzz. 

We’ll be planting in our own community spaces and office locations too, so keep a look out for our updates.
