Residents have kicked off the festive season and enjoyed their first Christmas lunch at Holmer’s newest retirement village, thanks to Bake and Create catering service.

Residents joined members of the team at Cathedral Park for a traditional Christmas dinner of turkey, stuffing and sprouts, Christmas pudding, toffee apple crumble and homemade cheesecake amongst festive music and fun, including a raffle.

Isabella Hadley, our Service Manager at Cathedral Park said: “Christmas is an important milestone for Cathedral Park as it’s the first one for the retirement village but also the first for our residents here so we wanted to recognise this with a celebration.  It was wonderful to see our residents together and joining in the fun.”

Bonnie Collins from Bake and Create said: “It was an honour to be asked to cater for the first Christmas lunch at Cathedral Park, we hope everyone enjoyed the food!  We pride ourselves on everything being homemade using the freshest ingredients.  We look forward to working with everyone again.”

Cathedral Park is open every day for enquiries and viewings and will be offering services such as a cafe, hairdressing salon and s shop in the new year.
