Hundreds of eggs have made their way to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, thanks to a community driven donation from our Platform Property Care arm of the business.

The donation was supported by colleagues and contractors and has helped brighten the Easter period for children and families in hospital.

Taylor Robins, one of our Service Managers and the organiser of the collection said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to coordinate an initiative such as this and I’m grateful for all the donations received from contractors and colleagues.  It shows the power of community when we work together.”

Colleagues sorted more than 1300 Easter eggs which they delivered using one of our new electric vehicles, with the Smethwick based hospital among several locations to benefit from the donation.

Jo Mayer, Play Team member at the hospital said: “Thank you to Platform Property Care for helping us spread a little Easter joy.  The donation made a real impact and helped brighten the day for many young patients and their families.  Being in hospital means they miss out on so many of the usual Easter activities, so we’re pleased to help bring a sense of normality and a smile to their day while they’re here.”
