Platform Housing has a Retirement Living scheme called Parkheath just off Heath Close in the northern edge of Hallow. The lovely village benefits from a popular Public House, Shop, Post Office, and Church. The apartment is situated on the western side of the River Severn, surrounded by countryside on the A443 and yet only about 3 miles north-west from the Cathedral city of Worcester.

To be eligible you must be aged 60+ or 55+ if you are in receipt of Personal Independence Payments or Disability Living Allowance.
You will be required to pay one month’s rent/service charges of £637.84 in advance on the tenancy start day.
If you are eligible and intend to claim Housing Benefit or Housing element of Universal Credit, please note for all apartments some service charges would not be covered by these benefits. This includes £0.35 towards the cost of administration, a £7.79pcm towards the cost for support and £2.31pcm toward the cost of the communal TV.
The preferred method of payment ongoing is via Direct Debit and we accept Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured or affordable rent lifetime tenancy.
Please be aware Housing Benefit / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.
If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
