Big congratulations are in order today as Platform have walked away from the prestigious Women in Housing awards with a gong!
Ella Corbett, chair of our Customer Experience Panel was crowned Woman of the Year at the event which was taking place at the Old Trafford Cricket ground in Manchester.
Ella’s work with the panel has been nothing short of amazing. Since becoming chair the panel she has helped the members grow in confidence to challenge us on the ways we work with customers and influence the decisions we make.
The scheme plays a huge part in helping us ensure that customers are at the heart of what we do the senior leaders who meet with them regularly will testify how useful it is to us as an organisation.
Fellow panel members Stuart Harrison, Amanda Ward, Karen Sheriff and Shaolan Menzies were there to see her pick up her award and share in the recognition of how good the team has become.
After the ceremony, Ella said “I really am honoured to win, it feels amazing. I’m so proud of the panel as they really are a hard working bunch. They embraced the projects we’ve had to work on and it’s great some of them were here to share in the success tonight.”
The ceremony was part of the Chartered Institute of Housing’s ‘Housing 2021’ conference which is held over three days, bringing companies and organisations together to discuss the topical issues affecting the sector.
