Anticipation ahead of UK Housing Awards

Following a challenging year for everyone, Platform are very proud to have been shortlisted in two categories at the prestigious UK Housing Awards ceremony.

Our work with communities has been recognised in the Homebuilder of the Year award, whilst supported living projects, like the Foyer in Worcestershire, have been acknowledged in the Best Supported Housing Landlord category.

The development team worked very hard to get homes completed and handed over to customers, along with pushing forward to identify new opportunities to build affordable housing where it’s needed the most.

Building houses isn’t where we stop however. Our work with local communities and in supporting residents across the midlands is so important to us. From things like our £1.4m Wellbeing Fund, digital sessions for residents and community events working alongside safer neighbourhood teams, we’ve made sure our customers have every opportunity to enjoy life in their new homes.

At the Foyer in Malvern, Worcestershire, our support workers help vulnerable, young people with a safe place to live and provide them with the skills they need to live a new, independent life. Some residents have gone on to achieve apprenticeships and jobs giving back to their local community.

The awards take place on the evening of November 25, 2021 and we'll be updating on our social media, you can follow all the evenings chatter with us here Tweeting at the awards with a round up on our LinkedIn page.
